BSF also has a staff of Foreign Resident Ambassadors (FRAs) that represent the ministry around the world. The FRA’s are supported by the BSF International Fund.
The first international foray occurred as class members took BSF with them to Asia and Canada. BSF increased its expansion internationally in the 1970s, beginning with Australia, England, and New Zealand.
In addition to those nations, you can also now find BSF classes throughout Asia in: China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
African classes are held in Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
European nations with classes include: England, France, Italy, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Switzerland.
In Central and South America, classes are held in Belize, Brazil, Ecuador, and Peru.
Combined with the U.S. and Canada, that adds up to nearly 1,000 BSF International classes.
