About BSF
BSF Volunteers

Each and every day, volunteers play an integral role at BSF headquarters in San Antonio, Texas.

With 200,000 study notes required each week for class members worldwide, and with teaching leaders and other leaders coming to headquarters for regular training, volunteers help with printing, shipping, food preparation, and food service on a regular basis.

While most of our volunteers are from the San Antonio area and serve a half or full day at a time, many volunteers come from other parts of the U.S. or from other countries! Those who travel long distances often spend a week or two serving. Housing is available on the BSF campus for these long-distance volunteers. As a non-profit ministry, BSF benefits greatly from the nearly 200 volunteers that give of their time and their talents each month at BSF headquarters. It is estimated that the full-time staff would need to increase by 50 percent to do the work of the volunteers!
