One BSF class member said to us, "The reason I never miss coming to BSF is because this Bible study is really helping me understand the Bible. I really struggle when I just read it myself and BSF is showing me how to apply the Bible to modern life, even to my life. I am so grateful! What a testimony!

Many are seeing the benefits of being regular and deep in God's Word. As we study the amazing book of Isaiah, we are struck that it is God's intention that we live according to His Word, and that means we must study to know His Word. In Isaiah 5:24 we read that God judges Judah for they had "rejected the law of the LORD Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." God was not angry because they did not keep the law, but because they did not care to keep the law. This thought has brought a new urgency to our work in Hyderabad.

Please pray for the two BSF classes in Hyderabad because we know this battle must surely be fought on our knees.

1) Men's evening class: We have an amazing group of very committed children's leaders, but the class members are not bringing children to our men's school program. Our weekly attendance is only five or six children. Please pray the men in BSF in Hyderabad will begin to see the great benefit of bringing their children with them to BSF and that they will hear and respond to God's call to help provide for the spiritual growth of their children, grandchildren, and even non-relatives!

2) Men's and women's classes: Both classes have good numbers of men and women who are new to BSF. However, a good percentage of these newcomers do not return. Please pray the newcomers would feel immediately comfortable and excited about the potential of an in-depth Bible study and that they would soon adjust to the class and become active participants! Pray for wisdom and caring hearts for our group leaders who need the Holy Spirit's leading to shepherd the newcomers.

3) Men's and women's classes: Both classes will be learning and experiencing new things in the BSF program.

  • Pray our BSF fellowships will be exciting, include genuine sharing, be well attended, and give God glory!
  • Pray our A.S.K. will bring greater bonding in the discussion groups, that men and women will be eager to pray for each other, and be excited to see God answer their prayers.
  • Pray our seminars' attendance will be excellent, presentations clear and messages inspiring. Pray for our substitute teaching leaders who will be leading seminars for the first time.
  • Pray for our leaders who add homiletics to their weekly responsibilities. Pray they will find the exercise joyful and helpful, they will find the time to accomplish this exercise, and they will be well prepared for their Saturday afternoon leadership duties, and even share the passage with those outside of BSF.

Thank you for your every prayer!
