As BSF continues to make a worldwide impact through international classes, Foreign Resident Ambassadors (FRAs) serve as teaching leaders (or substitute teaching leaders) of existing international classes, as area personnel, or as class planters.

Class planters develop contacts in cities where there is likelihood that BSF classes can thrive. As their efforts develop into established BSF classes, FRAs begin training national leadership with the goal of replacing themselves in those classes. FRAs are then able to move into other international areas to plant new classes.
