Making guests feel at home and comfortable is the responsibility of the hospitality staff and volunteers. The cottages, auditorium, and dining room require occasional cleaning by volunteers, especially before and after training sessions. Volunteers are also needed to help with the indoor and outdoor maintenance of BSF's buildings and grounds. Landscaping, mechanical, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and many other types of jobs are done on a routine basis.
