First Baptist Church Richardson
Women today face a multitude of challenges. Many are overworked and in need of spiritual rest. Others struggle with insecurity, broken relationships, guilt and loneliness. Countless women have found peace, comfort, hope, security and answers to life's big questions as they uncover the truth of God in the Bible.
Join Us Each Week
As a class member, you will spend time in personal study of the Scriptures each week. On the day or night of class, you will join other women in a small-group discussion of the lesson and learn from a teaching leader how the truths of Scripture can be applied to daily life. You will leave class with comprehensive lesson notes, which teach further on the passage you studied, and lesson questions for the following week.
Day classes have an added feature for registering adults — an outstanding curriculum for preschool children. In BSF evening classes, a school program challenges school-age students to grow in their Bible knowledge and love for God as they study the same passages as their registering adult.
Accompanying Preschool Classes
As a part of day women's classes, loving, well-trained and committed leaders teach little ones about God and the Bible in age-appropriate ways. The leaders pray for the children and encourage them to continue learning with their registered adult throughout the week. (The preschoolers' curriculum is based on the lessons the adults study.) The children also learn other important life skills, such as how to obey instructions, cooperate, sit and listen — all taught in an atmosphere of love.
When they've outgrown the preschool program, children are eligible to attend the school program, which is included in men's classes and evening women's classes.
